Well, I started with affiliating the same day I got member to WA.
I`m now just finish with the 8 week action plan, and it has helped me a lot!

I got my first sale after 4 days membership and I remember I was jumping in my bed like a monkey… I was really happy!! And that encouraged me to go on.

After my 8 week action plan I was able to buy myself a 32" flatscreen, Xbox, and Gta IV… (wich I never could buy without my clickbank checks)

However, I haven`t used my xbox to much because I find affiliating much more fun! And it makes me money!

I got so much more to learn and looking forward for tomorrow because it gives me new possibilities and opportunuties.

This is my short success story and I will get back with my success story after 1 year membership

In this forum, I've read about how some members would receive an email informing them of a WA sale. I've not gotten any so I thought, hey it's just another day without a sale Today, I decided to click on the '$ Affiliates' button. I haven't clicked this for about 2 weeks. Guess what? I have not one but two sales approved!!! My first $40 sale!!!!

Then I thought why not check Clickbank as well, I might just get lucky. I haven't been doing this for about a week already (tired of seeing all those zeros). I stared at my screen for a while. Did I just see two bars?! OMG I made my first 2 sale at clickbank!!!!

I am so happy right now I feel like hugging and kissing every person who passes by me! Can't blame me right? I have just discovered today that I made my first 4 freakin' sales online!!

Using pure 100% bum marketing.

And some advice I thought worth sharing with others:

1) When writing your articles, make sure your ANCHOR TEXT for your affiliate link contains relevant keywords, and not just "click here", and not just the URL itself.

2) Try to use persuasive language in your ANCHOR TEXT.
Do this:
eg) Make <A HREF=http://www.longdistancecalls.com>long distance calls</A> for free.

Not this:
eg) Click <A HREF=http://www.longdistancecalls.com>here</A> to make long distance calls for free.

And not this:
eg) Visit <A HREF=http://www.longdistancecalls.com>http://www.longdistancecalls.com> to make long distance calls for free.

I have noticed a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE, HUGE jump in my CTRs ever since I discovered this one little tip and started implementing it. Notice I don't tell the reader to "click" or to "visit". I just tell the reader to solve the problem, and highlight the most important relevant keywords.

$31.00 for free article on EzineArticles. First sale. So… looks like I'm not leaving WA after all. Perhaps I should call it the "Magic of Success." Prepare world… I now have encouragement and my motivation back. Time to start pumping out articles!

I’ve been trying to build up my capital so that I can spend more on advertising. I want this business to expand so I’m not planning to spend the money on a car or anything.

The mindset is totally different when working for yourself as opposed to working for someone. I’ve learned that being in business, you need to maintain good cash flow and because money moves in and out of the account regularly, especially in large amounts!

The next step for me is to expand to other networks such as AzoogleAds, NeverblueAds, and others. I’ve made some money there, but was short-lived when Google put the smackdown in Late-March 2008.

My current goal is to make $1k/day in commissions on average across 7 days. I think breaking the $1k/day will be a bit of challenge, but knowing the goal will help me to focus on it.

Hello its been a while since I last posted here. I somewhat kind of been neglecting wa for a while. I need to stop and thats why I'm posting now. I joined wa In Jan.07. I didn't start to make notable income until around this time last year.

I have been averaging $400 to $500 per month just off my spare time because of what I've learned from wa and travis bum marketing. My best month has been a little over $1000 and 4 Months making $700- $800.

I've only put in less than part-time effort into this. Infact I wouldn't even consider it spare time effort. The last page I put up was prior to a couple of was weeks ago was around Jan or Feb of 08. :-/. Its good to know once you get pages set-up that converts they can keep making you money each and everymonth.

I know I'm fully capable of making more and intend to put forth massive effort to get to my goal of $200 per day by August. I've recently been having good results with pay per lead affiliate programs an area I've also neglected in the past.

First profitable week ever, not by much, had a $50 profit this week after adspend and everything but it sure feels good. I have had sales in the past but my adspend always ended up catching up with my profit which was very annoying. The important thing here is I think I am finally starting to see the light and can understand what I was doing wrong in the past. My CTR for my adwords acct today was a 11.4 percent, I used to think that was impossible, 30 people clicked on my ad today and I got 33 clicks through to the main sales page…

Thanks to Kyle and Carson they have been very helpful and theres no way I would be making money online without there help and this site.

I know now that if I make $50 in one week there is no reason I can't make $1000 and so on and so forth.

Actually making money on your own is a pretty awesome feeling, i bet if you asked your average person off this street to make $50 this week without working for someone else they wouldn't know where the hell to begin.

Ok i will cut this short but thanks again and to everyone else starting out good luck and keep at it until you make it!

I couldn't wait to do one of these posts I've been here just over a month so I'm definately not the fastest person to get their first sale! However it's been really hard to work on my IM'ing because I am currently studying at a police college therefore I only get access to the internet on weekends

I started my first campaign/s about 2 weeks ago using google adwords. My first campaign was a bad choice which was tattoos. 150 clicks later and I had ZERO sales. So, time to delete that campaign!

Last week I created another campaign which started off great with a CTR of 11% (only after 12 clicks though) and just 2 hours after I set it up, google slapped me and gave me a minimum bid of $13

So, I created my 3rd campaign last Friday night. Quite a competitive niche but I gave it a try anyway. I didn't get one click over the weekend. Anyway, I got home last night and checked my Clickbank account and BAM! $33 Bucks sitting in my account Woohooo! It felt so good finally seeing a sale in my account after seeing a sea of zeros for so long! Oh yeah, I have only had 5 clicks on my ad Just $1.74 adspend.

The funny thing is, my stats are horrible:

CTR: 0.75%
Avg. CPC: $0.34
Avg. Pos: 4.8
QS is just "OK" for all my KW

Time to do some tweaking and then just rinse & repeat!
